Henna application questions

I'm right handed. In the few years I've been self-applying henna I've
basically stuck to only applying henna to my left hand. My left hand
is incredibly unsteady and designs on my right hand come out looking
like I tried to apply them in the middle of an earthquake. Any tips?

I have the same basic problem with my feet. I generally stick to my
right foot because it's close to my right hand. Applying henna to my
left foot is like trying to play 3-d twister. I've also basically
stuck to "on top" designs with the foot, applying to the top of the
foot or to the toes. I love the look of "sandal" designs where there
is a line-like design going from the big toe, around the back of the
heel and to the small toe. This is also like playing some form of 3-d
twister. Any suggestions?

One last question and I promise I'll shut up :) Does anyone know of
any brands of eye or lip liner pencils that will not act as a resist
to paste?

Thanks in advance! :)
