I think you may be taking the picture to close to your subject I
also noticed that the palm design with the blue background is a bit
dark and the detail is hard to see. You also have a photo that may
have been taken indoors without a flash and thats a bit dark.

Sorry to be so cridical but I had all the same problems with
digital cameras.

You can get an adopter that will hold closeup or macro lenses from
TIFFEN. Most digital cameras will let you get close enough for a good
photo but details are hard to see, its like looking at a quarter from
3ft away,you can see its a coin but is it a nickle or a quarter.

As for the the other two photos always make sure the subject is
not in front of a bright area like a window lamp ect. make sure the
subject is lit from the front.

And don't forget the flash for indoor pictures.

I think that your other pics came out great and I took no offence
to the frontal nudes. Its art and how else could you show it?
