I have tested room temp 1 year old henna against 1 year frozen henna
more than once. 1 year frozen henna powder regularly gives FABULOUS
stains with no precievable deterioration from the same henna when used
immediately after it arrived absolutely fresh. The room temp stain
was sad. Pitiful, pitiful stains. I've seen this time after time.
I've also used henna frozen 3 years and there's been little
deterioration in stain results. Three years room temp? Forget it.

Stick your summer crop henna powder in the freezer, ziplocked. I just
used year old frozen Jamila for the last 2 weeks and the stains were
to die for. I got upper arm, breast and belly stains in the chocolate
- coffee range on some people.
