: My mom was a cake decorator and she used the 'twist' method for
: decorating. She twisted the top so that it was tight against the
: (icing in this case) and held the twisted part between her thumb
and
: pointer finger and the bag in palm of her hand with the end
pointing
: about perpendicular with the fingers, twisting a little more as the
: icing was dispensed. Can this method be used in applying henna?

I twist my carrot bags because I have way more plastic than I fill.
I actually tie a knot and kep moving the knot up as I use the henna.
There is not enough excess in the rolled cones to do this, and I
suspect that the internal layering would get messed up if you tried.
