: Your stories made me laugh so hard .. heheheh ...
: Ohh, I love the work you did on Gwyn too ... gorgeous patterns,
: gorgeous gal ;). Did you draw the pattern out with pencil too? <--
: feels like a stoopid question to me ;).
I'm glad you and other people have been having fun with this. I don't
expect to be at Brushwood next year ... I've got to do research other
places, and my hip just doesn't want me to go camping anymore. Yes,
it's been fun!
I use pencil to do a fast layout more and more frequently! It makes a
world of difference in what you can accomplish! Once I thought that
great painters and graphic artists did all their pieces on the first
go without sketching ... then I majored in pictorial arts and minored
in art history and learned otherwise. To get past "GO" an artist has
to work, think, try stuff, fiddle about.. Even if the canvas is done
in "one take", there will have been sketches preceding. The more I do
prep work the better my henna gets. I could do this stuff without the
prep ... but it's just so much easier and foolproof to preplan. It
gets the kinks out.
I'll pass on the compliments to the fabulous Gwyn!
