: it! Modern Primitive Face Painting is the newest trend in San
: Diego... and the Children's Museum wants to do patterns with history
: behind them.
I've got the material, and I agree facial work is "whazzup" ... I just
have to park my butt in front of the computer and PRODUCE. I put an
offering in the water for Oshun after the Starwood full moon Bembe (by
the bridge where we used to stand and look at the stars and be amazed
at how beautiful Brushwood can be at night), so perhaps Oshun's for
adornment will encourage her to lend a hand (pun intended) ... but the
Bembe drumming hit me like Ogun's hammering .... resonated in me like
sitting at the computer banging research into finished papers. (Ogun

Orishas offered me a message for the year, it's sit down and work,
goddammit! OK, OK, I hear you......
I LOVE a good Bembe .... even though those nights can be right in the
"um .... sure" zone, I find them delicious, enriching, cathartic, and
they fire up my creativity!
: We'll probably do neo-tribal trance designs, too...for all the people
: who need those kind of specially significant and magical markings on
: their faces...um, yeah...
