There are heaps of different Eucalupytuses. Some that I know of as
being useful for henna are Globulus and Polybracta. I don't know for
sure about Radiata but I don't think it has the same properties.
Even some of the Globuluses and Polybractae have different properties
depending on subspecies and harvest conditions. What you're looking
for is the quantity of the terpene compound in each. If you haven't
noticed a difference in using your Euc. oil, I'd guess that the sort
you have isn't terribly high in terpenes.
Any of the sellers on here who have oils (me, Maureen, and Kenzi off
the top of my head) have tested them to make sure they are henna-
effective. The Euc. I have is Globulus with a guaranteed 80-85%
terpene compound, so it will definitely work for you, and if you like
the smell, so much the better. I just did my hair with leftover
eucalyptus and cajeput henna and MAN are my sinuses clear!
