Yes, I can understand, luscious doings aside, the smell alone is
dreamy. And it *stays* with you. The way I found out about this is
well, kinda weird. I used to have horrible problems getting to sleep.
I'm a *NIGHT* person, so unless the sun is rising, I'm just not
tired. I tried wine, which really screws with sleeping patterns, and
I tried wearing myself out, which just.. wears me out! Then I tried
dropping lavender oil in about 6 spots on my pillow. DREEEAAAAMY. So
with that working wonderfully I decided to add in some heady,
sensuous jasmine and I added in only two drops because that stuff is
so darn expensive, but it sticks around. Well next morning I wake up
and my hair is like just silky silky soft and patient. And as long as
the stuff was on my pillow, it did its magic.

Now Cananga, is another story of deep heady aromatic sensuality. It's
other name is ylang ylang, I just don't like the shape/sound of those
words, so I call it Cananga. Poor quality canaga sounds like about-to-
expire-lillies. Good quality cananga smells like a grove of lillies
(a grove of lillies, kinda like a murder of crows?) bursting into
fresh bloom and quickly overpowering you... so, use it sparingly!!
And have the shower nearby!

: I am going to just have to try the rubbing the Jasmine
: through my hair thing Txilar. I don't really need it to do
: anything. Just any reason to have the smell of Jasmine on my hands
: and in the room.
: I don't think that I am familiar with cananga...but it sounds like
: something delicious smelling if it blends well with the Jasmine and
: pushes it toward sexy and sensual and musky and sweaty and...Let me
: go wash my hair and take a cold!!!
: Maureen...making a note to get some of that cananga...
