Henna is never plain black. You can get it to supersaturate so it's
a darkdarkdark red or brown but it's never that blue-black. It's got
to have some additive, and if you read the info about "black henna"
at the top of the message list for this page, you'll see how
dangerous it can be. I'd write to the company and link them to the
info here (although they have probably already been contacted about
it and just don't care) but a more useful approach would be to write
and link the person whose site you found the banner on. Let them
know they're promoting poison. I don't know if they can be sued but
they are at least karmically liable.
