I have to owe my level of skill to a cake decorating class I took
once. The carrot bags henna application seems to be very similar to
cake decorating.

I haven't tried cellophane or mylar. I have tried freezer bags. I
have no luck with self-rolled cones. They constantly leak. The last
time I ended up with orange blotches all over my right hand because I
didn't notice in time that the top of the cone had burst open and
that paste had started leaking out of the side seam of the cone by my
fingers.

The only thing that really gets me with the carrot bags is that
there's a rather wide seam on one side that tends to catch the henna
as it's pushed out resulting in a little curling.
