If price is a concern, you might perhaps consider plain ol' white
glue. The regulars here are probably already sick of hearing me
repeat myself, but I swear, I'm not sniffing the glue :), I'm just
trying to spread the word. It costs but a fraction of the price of
New Skin and it works very well. In my experience, as long as white
glue is applied over dried henna, and as long as it isn't applied too
thickly, it makes an excellent sealer. You can blast it quickly with
a hairdryer to get it to form a "skin". Then it dries clear and
fairly hard over the next 15 minutes or so (assuming you have
decently warm conditions.) And when you are ready to remove your
henna, the whole thing typically just peels off in one go. Little or
no scraping required... 95% or more of the henna comes right off your
skin. I even tried mixing in some of Steph's glitter the other day,
and as you would expect, the results were... glittery. "Glitter
Glue", you might say. (With due credit to Alissa for the name.)
