If you can't get ahold of the National Geographic magazines from the
early 1900's, and you find the CD series doesn't have the image
resolution you'd like ... but you WOULD like to see all the yummy
tales and pics of North Africa 100 years ago .....
"Mysteries of the Sahara" Chelsea House Publishers has reprinted the
"Here and There in Northen Africa" articles that detail pre-WWI tribal
life that has largely disappeared. ISBN 0-7910-5097-1
The reproduction quality is good enough to see some of the harquus
patterns, occasionally glimpses of fading henna.

Egypt .. but honestly is off topic ... have you ever done the "Anubis"
thing with your hand... and done a hundred silly variations with your
friends? Very popular here. I thought it would be fun to play silly
Anubis games in typeface...... (move the coffee away from the
keyboard, swallow, before following the link below!)
