I made some henna a few weeks ago and did my feet. Unfortunatly when I
wraped them they smeared and I was VERY upset, seeing as how it was
the first time I even hennaed my feet, and it was pretty damn good if
I say so myself. But back to my main I made a lot of
henna and decided to freeze it. This is the first time I have ever
froze henna and decided to reuse. I planned to use it a few days
later, so when the day came I got it out and thawed it. Then I had to
put it back because the person who wanted some changed their mind. So
then I think I got it out and had to put it back again. But...a few
days ago a got it out and actually did probably the best free hand
design even in my short time of hennaning. It was a design that
someone posted a pic of on this forum, but not a stencil! So I
consider it free hand, but not my own design. But I noticed the paste
was kinda runny, but I still managed to work with it.
I was wondering if the number of times you freeze and thaw it affects
the staining power. It is Indian henna that is supposed to stain red,
but it went brown. I did add a little ground cloves to the mixture,
so I guess my second question is if the ground cloves could change the
Thanks to anyone who can help me understand my henna a little more.
