As for being nervous, that's whatyour Front man is for. He talks to
people. He answers questions. He can usually take money and handle
everything but the actual hennaing. I sound like a total moron if I
try to hold a conversation while I'm hennaing someone. My useful
vocabulary is limited to "not black" and "water please". My head is
down on the person I'm working on, and I never even see the rest of
the crowd. I figure anyone can handle one person at a time, right?
Let us know how it goes, and have FUN! One thing you might want to
try is to take a walk just before the Fair opens. This lets the
vendors see you're there, and may get you some customers from that
side of the booth, too.
