: color. To be fair to the merchants, I saw some *amazingly* dark
: stains, as well as some really beautiful designs. I also saw that
: lots of people had done their own henna... I've spent years promoting
: this at Pennsic, it was so nice to see.

There were clearly many hennaes that were camp parties, and that was a
wonderful thing! Henna just for fun and DIY is always good.

I did, though, have several people come to me asking me to repair
henna that someone had charged them for ... so someone, somewhere, was
doing some grim henna and expecting money for it.

I saw so many HJBA patterns! That was kind of a giggle, to see one of
my patterns walking by on a stranger! I know many Pennsicers have
HJBA .... and now many more have Erfan's book! That's going to be fun
to see next year! Some Spellstone's went out too. It was wonderful
to see so many people get excited over Erfan's book and really
appreciated it! The Queen of the East had me do her hands for court
with one of Erfan's patterns, #4, 14th century Persian. People like
that one so much I've got it memorized now and actually got through
both hands in 20 minutes (slightly simplified).

To go back and see dozens of Erfan's pieces all over the Middle
Eastern crowd ... now that's going to be COOL!

I don't expect to go camping again ... so I helped Katie and Amber
start hennaeing. Katie, with a winter's practice, is going to be
GOOD! I hope she starts lurking on the forum ... (Katie from Touch
the Earth ... 13 I think. ) Amber is younger, but she's got
"henna-itis" too.
