While I usually dab the lemon-sugar on with a cotton ball, I agree
with Jessica that there is a risk of squashing or moving your lines.
I don't use spray lemon-sugar because I find that it gets all over
stuff when I am doing indoor events. Another risk of spraying on the
lemon-sugar is that you can often spray too much on and it starts to
run, sometimes washing away fine lines. To avoid this spray from
farther away so the mist is finer and spray it less that you think it
needs and only spray again if you see that it's NOT pooling.

There is also a make-up fixative called Final Seal which works a lot
like lemon sugar and comes in a spray bottle. You can get it from
stores or sites that sell professional make-up supplies like
www.stagesupply.com
