I use watercolor pencils all the time to make the basic layout before
I henna. You can make a quantum leap in complexity and accuracy just
by sketching first. I use Derwent and Stabilo Aquarellable pencils,
in several henna-type colors. The pencil lines don't bother the henna
at all! I'd recommend this to anyone!
