Hi Catherine,

That is indeed a beautiful pic and the color is fantastic.

What I have been looking at lately is that what might make people
wonder and doubt if the colors will show up is that they may only
consider contrasts in hue and miss the entire contrast in both hue
and intensity of hue that takes place. The contrast in the intensity
of the hue of the stain placed on skin that never is as intense in
hue as the stain...added to what henna just appears to do magically
on skin...makes it a "not to worry" type issue.

I have found that it doesn't even have to be the darkest staining
henna powder. I have used a henna powder that typically goes to a
reddish/brown stain. When put on very dark skin, it remained in that
reddish/brown range...though was deeper and darker colored...but the
difference in the color and the intensity of the color of the stain
next to a different skin color that was not near the intensity of the
stain made the stain jump out at you.

Hope that makes sense. Those are the best words that I have been
able to come up with the explain what takes place and why the eye
picks up the design without any difficulty. I am sure there are
better ways of saying this.

Wonderful picture.

Thanks.

Maureen
