Maureen brings up several valid points, so I'll only throw in my
short 2 cents -- a lot of people don't like the inconvenience of
keeping their hands immobilized for hours while wearing the paste, so
they chose an area that is easier to ignore for long lengths of time
during the day. And, I agree -- it's a sexy lil body part, just ask
any Victorian!

For rates, I would suggest considering what you want to make per
hour, as well as make per design. If you want to make say $60 hour
you have to produce $60 worth of henna work in one hour, and if you
are new and slower (I'm slow a lot too, so I understand, and I've
been doing this a goodly while), you may only want to make $30
hourly. That means can you do 3 $10 designs in an hour, or 20 minutes
per design that you want to charge $10 for. Consider then, when
pricing, how long will the design take (is it large? is it complex?)
and go from there.

I don't know if this is making any sense, my approach to money is
kinda strange at times I think :)

welcome to the greatest place to study henna Nadia! Hope to see more
posts from you as well.
