Hi everyone,

After working with Jamila for my sister's wedding and at the "Team
Kenzi Henna Party" with Nick and Kenzi this weekend, and after mixing
up another henna then, last minute switching to Jamila to stop those
@*)&%) clogs in my smallest tip, I have decided that Jamila is THE
henna. Nothing else comes close. Everything else requires sifting,
and doesn't seem to get as dark.
This weekend's tests with fresh Jamila, tea-tree, cajeput, and
geranium (sorry Kenzi for the smell of the latter!) gave me the most
consistently good results I've seen since my days as a bike racer.
does anyone sell it cheaply? Lauren? Maureen?
By the way, Nick, my feet are GORGEOUS and near-black all over. I am
getting mad compliments. After the womens' art fest I stopped off at
New York Adorned where the owner does henna on weekends. She's never
been super friendly, but after browsing through their earrings I
decided to watch her work. She was doing a rather nice vine, very
delicate, with a cone, on a guy's hand and wrist. I attempted to
engage her in talk but after she saw all my henna work all over both
hands, feet, and up one arm, she clammed up and got really weird. She
asked who'd done my hand, and it was Nick's "intentionally sloppy"
Moroccan design and I think she felt superior. Ah well, I feel
magnanimous after a weekend of some stunning art,
