I can go look this up now that you have a name ...
I've been told that the flowers are crushed for color, and that's
inconsistant with henna. Also, I don't think Korea is in a climate
zone to support henna. Henna doesn't cope well when any night
temperatures drop below 60F. I'm looking at a website that says Seoul
has frost in the winter ..... so that would nix henna.

Interesting to find out what sort of natural dye the plant DOES have!
