: neccisary for anything other than to mask the tea tree scent?
You won't need an additional terp to mask the tea tree scent. Any
essential oil that strikes your fancy and makes your paste smell as
you want will work to mask the tea tree. Some people use a
combination of terps, but that is not necessary. Your tea tree alone
is capable of handling the job. Where it needs help is the smell if
the smell is not of your liking.
: have Geranium, but it's not Geranium Bourbon. What are my other
: options? (Preferrably ones I can buy in a store)
You should be able to go to a store that has essential oils and just
pick your favorite. Mine is rose or jasmine. But since my favs for
terping are terpineol and cajeput, I selected oils that work for me
with the terpineol and cajeput. Actually, I love the smell of both
alone and don't usually bother with any additional essential oil in
the paste. If you find the smell of tea tree with lemon in your
paste to be to your liking, know that nothing else is necessary.
Have plenty of fun!!!
