: If this is once through a Fred, and that represents the plant scrap
: size at 60x that passes through the double cloth ....
: this passes through a 7, 5 or a 3 jac tip? I'd like a clear visual
: fix on what size plant scrap would be considered acceptable to a
: working henna artist. Then ...... one can take a pic of a sample
and
: say "this is acceptable, I'll buy it" or "this is unacceptable,
clean
: it up and we'll talk". The Fredded Chunky was scrappier than
Jamila,
: though the largest particle size was similar .... I wonder just what
: the threshold is for "smooth and deadly". And, could two trips
: through Fred equal Jamila? Then ... you weigh out the debris and
: discuss with the exporter just how much is waste and what you're
: actually paying for.

The sizes of jac tips are .5, .7, and .9 millimeters. With a .5, and
once fredded henna, clogging is rare... but, maybe mister chunky is
different. If you've got a jac bottle lying around, just mix up a
batch and test for clogs. The new pebeo tips are .4 and .2
millimeters, and as of now i think the only henna acceptable for use
with them is jamila.
I don't think a second fredding would do much for the henna... if it
didn't catch it the first time, why should it catch it the second?
