I wouldn't recommend using henna that close to your eyes. Just the
act of packaging henna...taking from kilo bags and putting it into
small bags...now has me with prescribed eye drops as my constant
companion. And that is just my eyes reaction to any small amount
floating in the air or on my hands. The other think is that even if
it were safe, I doubt that you would get a stain worthy of all of
your effort. Bottom-line, however, is that I think that skin around
the eyes is itself to delicate a skin to put anything like henna or
just the lemon juice on.

You might want to try to look at some of the semi-permanent make ups
now available that can stain that area without any more consideration
than your usual with eye shadow and liner.
