: Hi Karin,
:
: I wouldn't recommend using henna that close to your eyes. Just the
: act of packaging henna...taking from kilo bags and putting it into
: small bags...now has me with prescribed eye drops as my constant
: companion. And that is just my eyes reaction to any small amount
: floating in the air or on my hands. The other think is that even
if
: it were safe, I doubt that you would get a stain worthy of all of
: your effort. Bottom-line, however, is that I think that skin
around
: the eyes is itself to delicate a skin to put anything like henna or
: just the lemon juice on.
:
: You might want to try to look at some of the semi-permanent make
ups
: now available that can stain that area without any more
consideration
: than your usual with eye shadow and liner.
:
: Take care.

Semi-permanent make-up? Never heard of that before! Where are they
available? I'm thinking of eyeliner in particular because I have
smallish eyes with blonde lashes and liner sure makes a huge
difference. I always smear liners though :\
