This is where the terps or terpineol really come into play. For
those body parts, you will want to try the terps (tea tree, cajeput,
ravensara, eucalyptus globius, lavender) and terpineol will work
wonders as well. These additions to your paste will increase your
chances to get the stain on your lower back.

If you don't have any on hand, the tea tree is usually most easily
accessed at local drug stores and certainly at any Wal Mart in their
drug department. Also, the tea tree is the least expensive of the
terps. I find the odor and fumes of Tea Tree a serious drawback.
But there are others who use it with no difficulty.

It is hard to tell you how much to add without knowing your recipe.
But typically, I would suggest adding 15 to 20 drops of the tea tree
to 2 heaping tablespoons of henna powder used in your mix.
