I've been looking for an affordable Indian henna for quite some time
and I've finally found one I can stand behind. I'm calling it Taj
because of its rich, royal color- opaque red-brown that keeps its
redness for the whole length of the design, not browning out the
second day! This is the reddest I've seen henna stay, and the
reddest any henna has gone on me. The above picture was made with
it. I used a very fine tip cone and strained only to get the unmixed
bits out. I see no evidence of dye.
Anyway, I'm happy about the price, too. Retail price will be $4.00
for 50 grams and $6.00 for 100 grams with similar low prices on the
bulk rates. It should be available on my website within a few days.
I had to pay significantly higher prices for this because I couldn't
order a huge bulk this first time, but if it sells well, I'll be able
to lower the prices even more. I'm excited by the prospect of being
able to offer reliably excellent henna powder at prices to rival the
dead stuff in stores.
