OK. If it can be demostrated that dogs do NOT per se avoid the taste
of henna, then one can propose that the explicit mention of them
avoiding hands and feet was of symbolic significance and the people to
whom the story was recounted would have been expected to have implicit
understanding of this symbol. Skull .... preserving the skull was
part of the Canaanite burial pracice and belief system if I recall.
