On one point I would differ with you. While I agree that
professional henna artist do know how and prefer to mix their own
henna powder due to freshness and such, but also to make more
predictable their outcome. I don't know if I would go so far as to
say that even the best henna artists in the world mix their own and
freeze it for later use. The world is rather large for that
statement...I think. There are lots of professional henna artists
around the world and here in the U.S. who while mixing their own,
also rely on the premixes in a crunch and for back up. I also think
of henna artist in areas of the world where henna has been used for
many many years who just may not be freezing their henna paste at all
for all sorts of reasons...including the availability of electricity
or reliable electric service or a freezer.
