Fascinating! I was looking at the comparitive rainfalls in the places
where I KNOW good henna is grown and I KNOW when it's harvested ....
Pakistan has less rainfall than the Udaipur area, and it comes a bit
earlier. It looks to me as though the first shoots that come up
after the rains make the best stain ... and if the plant has to
survive rain scarcity, the dye is more concentrated when it does get a
bit of rain.

I'd like to understand this like some people understand wine.
