I used to use Yemeni henna exclusively; and I loved it. Then my
supplier stopped carrying henna. =( It was the greatest stuff though,
had to sift more than a few times, but I've had nothing else like it.
Fabulous colour you have there and *love* that design! Looks like
Tuareg jewelry or camel bags.

: This is henna from Yemen .......... pic taken 24 hours after
: application. Sam Yemen Co. is the exporter and the contact
information
: listed below. If you like what you see in this pic ......... say
: hello to Sam Yemen!
:
: I've tried it 4 times now, on 3 different people, and with terps,
the
: stain is consistently good .... email me if you want more details.
:
: I put the paste on my hand here 24 hours ago, gave it a quick NS
spray
: and went off to class .... some fell off, some didn't, good stain no
: matter what! When the paste came off (I did 3 steams) the color was
: screaming red orange. I expect most of it to darken to near black
: tomorrow.
:
: The person to contact if you're interested in imports is
: Sam Yemen Co. Ltd.
: Mohamed Al-Asha'f
: The General Manager

: Sana'a - Yemen

:
: I did microscope tests on this .. there is absolutely NO green dye,
: and once sifted, the texture is outstanding. Judge the color for
: yourself. Mohamed says he'll grind and sift to an importer's
: specifications ... talk to him about that. Email me if you want
more
: specific information on sifting, stain, micro pic and handling
: characteristics.
:
: Oh ... and this design is adapted from one of Erfan's Moroccan and
: Tunisian patterns from his upcoming book!
