I've got several sorts of netting, tulle, voile, organza hanging about
here from being a seamstress. No way netting or tull is going to do
the job. Voile is not going to hold up. Organza .... I don't think
it's got the right characteristics. I think there's a fineness
regularity of weave in the fish tank filter cloth that doesn't exist
in the "wearable" fabrics ... and a durability too. I'd go for the
fishtank stuff. It's meant to strain out algae and muck, and that's
about right.
