: could you explain to me what it is you like about the not-stringy
: paste?

I like a paste that will go where I tell it to and when I want it to
stop, it does. If the paste is too stringy, I get lines that won't
end where I want, or that go off in an unexpected direction if I lift
the cone off the skin. I get what CCJ calls tadpoles, little
squiggly lines where I tried to end a line but the paste wanted to
keep going. I don't see the benefit in having paste that won't let
go of itself, except for doing long, straight lines.
I should point out that both Taj and Kimia are pretty stringy, and
I'm still getting used to them.
