if you are looking for essential
: oils that are used as "terps" to use in your paste, the clove oil
is
: not going to help in that regard

Clove bud at least is a terp-rich oil. I think just plain clove
would be, too. However, you will want to use it very sparingly and
carefully on your own paste and don't use it on others without
telling them first. Clove can be very harsh to skin.

and you have to be careful which
: eucalyptus oil you get. There are more eucalyptus oils out there
: than you can shake a stick at. The only one we are finding to be
: useful as a terp is the eucalyptus globulus. Lauren and I both
carry
: this one. I am not sure if Kenzi has eucalyptus globulus.

And even within globulus there are subspecies with wide variations,
which is another reason to go with someone who sells stuff known to
work on henna. For example, Aura Cacia's Eucalyptus Globulus was
tried and found to do diddly for henna. Kenzi has Euc. Polybracta, I
believe, and she woudn't sell something that didn't work. There may
be others, but they are definitely in the minority of eucalyptuses.
