I get fantastic belly stains by adding monoterpene alcohols via EO's,
and adding heat. For bellies, I recommend blasting the henna (while
the paste is on) a garment steamer. HEAT, not smoke is the key,
though smoke often comes with heat.

powder can make your henna darker, it can also set of a nasty allergic
