Since the henna is purported to have anti-microbial and freshening
qualities, i try to henna in the winter when my feet are shut up in
shoes all day. In summer i wear beach sandles all the time, so my
feet stay aired out and clean. It also feels like a necesary part of
my beauty treatment by now... feet without henna?? what's that? ;-)
I don't do it so much in summer also because people see my feet, and
tend to think i have some disease or something... in winter it
doesn't matter of the soles of my feet are black from 3 applications
of henna.

: Thanks for all the information! I'll definitely try it without

: This might sound like a silly question, but why do you keep the
soles
: of your feet hennaed in the winter time? Is it just a personal
: preference?
