: GRRRRR
: I sell on Ebay as well as through my website, and yet again,
: someone's payment has been lost in the mail. Or so I am told. It
: was sent regular mail. They tell me they checked and it has not
been
: cashed. Now they are getting frustrated about not receiving the
: package they paid for. This happened once before and I let myself
: get talked into sending out a package I never did receive the money
: for. I should think it's clear by he fact that the money order is
: not cashed that I have not received it, and I don't think it's
: reasonable to keep sending out stuff with no payment in the hopes
: that it will eventually arrive. There's got to be a middle
ground.
: If it's lost in the mail, it is hardly my fault. I've asked the
: person to send another money order, saying I'd return the first one
: uncashed if it ever arrives (it's been almost a month since the
first
: one) and they refused, saying they already did their part of the
: bargain. I think that was reasonable, especially since they can
get
: their money back from the first, uncashed one. I know I've posted
: about similar stuff here before, I'm just venting, I guess. If you
: were an Ebay buyer, what would you expect to happen in this
situation?

I personally had a money order lost from an EBay transaction(the post
office really did loose it)a couple years back. So far i have much
success buying stuff from eBay. since you are a seller No payment no
merchandise, nothing is free in this world . also check the feedback
of the buyer,I always check the sellers feedback. I don't like what i
see I don't bid. I can wait until someone else puts it up on EBAy.
And also put on your terms of sale write the statement above in it.
most ebay auctions. this is how my friend words it."merchandise or
item/s will not be shipped until payment is recieved, "no
exceptions"(this little phrase help stamp out the non payers)good
luck.
