: Just a quickie to thank everyone for the help with the stencils. I
: have ordered some hectograph paper and got my girlfriend to 'nab'
: some surgical markers (she is a dermatologist and a big supporter
: Henna. She had a servere ppd burn in her department the other day
: and whereas all her colleagues were stumped (very little awareness
: over here in the uk) she new exactly what it was. Glad the word is
: spreading)
: I have found out a bit more about using inkjets. I went onto a
: permanent tattoo forum (those guys are really scary, very agressive
: to any new comers to the game (although I suppose the health issues
: are very real for those guys) and what they are starting to do is
: use hectographic ink in an old inkjet (don't use your nice shiny
: one). Basically they buy a refill cartridge and fill it with
: hectographic ink, then print it on 63g tracing paper. I know most
: people are freehanders on this site but as I found, there are some
: cases when stencils just make life so much easier.
: Hope I've given a little bit of insight as I have had so much
: invaluable advice from this forum.
: Thanks again to all who helped
: Howie

Wow - that is interesting! Where does one find hectographic ink? I
have an 'almost dead' printer that was giving me fits and my mom gave
me a new one for my b-day. I can get my old one to work if I mess
with it enough - might be worth it to print out some stencils!
