Hi Gloria,

Hmmmmmmmm....actually your lemon sugar sealant should smell pretty
much like lemon. I've never run into the corn chip thing.

After paste removal, often the smell that remains on the hand is
caused by the henna and paste rather than the lemon/sugar sealant.
Some people mix essential oils into their recipes for henna paste to
enhance the smell. I tend to skip that and just rub a drop or two of
my favorite essential oil directly onto the henna stain immediately
at paste removal. I find this a more effecient use of the essential
oils as it takes less of the essential oil to do the job of altering
the smell.
