I think the FDA ban has to do with 1) ignorance (no question about
that) and 2) adulteration of henna imports.

If henna is shipped as 100% pure henna and it is NOT 100% pure henna
.. the FDA has reason to complain. For the bad news, see the link
below and start going through the list at the bottom of the page. I'm
not done yet ..... have about 20 henna powders still to go.

After looking through this lot, I hope EVERY importer gets a IntelPlay
microscope and starts using it. If we don't DEMAND clean henna from
our suppliers, and show them EXACTLY what we object to, they're not
going to send it to us.
