Re: How harmful is green dye?

I think it's probable that if a person is already very sensitive to
PPD's that a heavilly dyed henna may cause a reaction....and WE
WOULDN'T SEE IT because it would occur long after they left us! If
we're using it, sifting it every day ... it's going up our noses and
into OUR systems!
I think the point is ... its totally unnecessary. And .... if it does
no good, and may do bad, why didn't the Indian Henna industry get rid
of it in 1989 when that paper came out and advised such? And ... what
are WE going to do about insisting that suppliers NO LONGER SEND US
HENNA WITH DYE?
Granted ... until IntelPlay .... we could only GUESS that the dye was
there, and if we complained that we thought it was there, a supplier
could just deny it. (And they did!) Now, if dye is there, we can show
them a picture of it, and say "do something about it".
