education and improving what we can. Right? She has worked very
hard and shared her knowledge so openly. I am so grateful for the
terp discovery!!!! I do support what CCJ is doing. I don't mean
this harshly however, I don't see anyone else trying to acomplish
what she is. Establishing a base line to build upon for a multitude
of reasons (which have already been mentioned) that are all
beneficial. I want to be as educated as possible.
I agree with what everyone else has said about the QUALITY thing and
the DYE. THAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUE!!! However, I am asking
because I only use henna on my skin.......would you choose the same
quality for your hair, drums, cloth, etc? This is a minor issue
considering the dye and quality issue, however, my point is, I just
see so many other benefits from knowing your henna.
: I for one am very thankful that Catherine takes the time to to
: I want the best possible henna and with her testing i can in turn
: contact my suppliers and say , "here look i want henna with no
: dye, so sand etc.. and if you dont provide it i will take my
: business elsewhere". Because of the testing suppliers will have to
: incrase the quality of the henna they export. She is ensureing that
: suppliers bringin henna into the US will get good henna, and if we
: are not we should be demanding it.
: Thanks for the testing Catherine.
: : The people who sent me samples are all forum regulars.
: : They understood the need for scrupulous care after seeing your
: : in the first tests. Because they understood your concerns, they
: : pristine samples.
: : And, just in case someone's going through this and wonders what
: : fuss is .... link below.
