Suggestion on sampling perhaps
Posted by Denise on October 11, 2002 at 21:07:54:
I've been reading the massive postings on the subject and a thought
occured to me.
There are people fussing about the samples being unreliable since the
henna is packaged in ziplocks therefore a unopen sample is not
possible directly from the importer.
Also wondering if some are prepackaged but are redone in ziplocks due
to size of prepackaging or to keep source of henna quiet.
Has anyone though about asking the exporter to prepackage the product.
I've done numerous imports and they usually are happy to do this.
I know several already ship their henna this way. Navaid and Jamila
Javeed ships in a large bag the last time I checked. Why not ask for
a small bag packaged there.
This could be sent for a test with reliability. Would solve the fuss
with minimum work. And would end the disputes.
