: Honestly, this whole thing could be resolved if both of you would
: just send ccj what you view as proper samples and submitted to the
: testing.

I'm really quite flabbergasted about how violently people are
reacting to this! I can see being worried that a sample was perhaps
mislabeled (I've certainly had bags of henna in my freezer whose
origins are a bit vague, but I would certainly not claim that they
were one brand or another unless I knew for certain!), but this crazy
idea that someone is purposefully and maliciously compromising
samples is, quite frankly, paranoid.
Personally, I'd *like* to see samples that were purchased retail
tested. This removes the possibility that the powder was double-
sifted, "cleaned up," or otherwise didn't represent what is being
sold to the consumer. (No, I'm not paranoid... it seems FAR more
likely that someone would try to make a sample look better than it
really is than worse!)

Again, as a consumer and occasional retailer, these tests aren't
going to affect who I do business with or what businesses I recommend
to others, nor what hennas I buy. The reactions, however, have.
