Here's what the lemon juice looks like (to see if it adds contaminants)

I prepared 5 clean slides with the same lemon juice I used to test the
henna ... and the only visible speck I could find was this. The grey
is just the background light though the floor of the microscope.

Not much there. I had to search long and hard to find this one bit.
It is presumably lemon pulp that got past the filter.

Do you now feel confident that the lemon juice did not add green dye,
grit particles, or large gorillas?

I would appreciate NOT using vinegar, at least until summer comes
again so I don't have to sit in a reeky office.
