: --Any experiences with bad henna?
I bought tubes of pre-mixed paste at an Indian festival...the color
was barely visible and pretty much disappeared the first time I
washed my hands.

: --What's your best memory of applying henna?
Hennaing a girl from UAE. She watched as I started applying it and
said "oh, that's the good stuff...my family does it like that"
being happy that I wasn't applying that black crap that gets pushed
on the tourists.

: --Your worst?
Sitting in a coffee shop all night long, and only had 4 customers.
One hispanic girl came up and asked what colors the henna came in.
I explained that it was natural henna, showed her the color on my
skin...she walked away and I could hear her saying to her friends
that the henna was "muy feo." I'm pretty sure that means very
ugly. The same night, an Indian girl wanted her whole hand done
bridal style. I told her it would be $10 (which is half of what I
normally charge- just needed to make some cash that night.) She was
aghast, asking if it was a permanent tattoo to cost so much...must
have been nuts.

--Funniest?
A drunk guy was excited about getting his first henna design ever.
He was considering getting "LSA sucks" because he was getting ready
to go to a U of F vs. LSA game the next day. He kept trying to
think of how you could spell "sucks" in a French kind of
way....seaux?...He thought better of it, saying that maybe his first
henna design shouldn't be so negative. Instead he opted for a yin-
yang with a sun around it.
