Yep, the habotai silk is best for veils. I've seen both 5 mm and 8mm
used. I prefer the 8mm for my veils .It's what's called china silk.
The 8 is a little more up to wear and tear .
Also I've seen some people that don't even hem them. Mine personally
are but they're not supposed to ravel and the edge just gets softer.
Not sure on that one though. A girl a whirlwind veils does hers that
way.
I'm working on trying to get the art of watercolor silk dying down to
make me a few more (just never can have enough veils LOL)
I wonder if you can henna on top of the silk dyes?
