As a dancer I have found that bolder designs work the best if the
dancer is on stage and not near the people watching. Fine lines seem
to disappear when on stage. The type of design should compliment the
dancers style. Such as cabaret, tribal, raks shari, etc. If the
dancer has no "style" then find out what music is being played for
the dance and what the dancer will be wearing and create a henna
design that will "go" with it all.
