: What designs look the best while dancing?

I find that big and bold designs carry best from a stage. The
traditional Indian henna design with the fingers dyed to the first
joint, and a large dot in the center of the palm - looks *wonderful*
from a distance. For ME dance I'd probably replace the dot with a
simple mandala-style center piece. I've seen some simplifies Moroccan
designs that look very nice from a distance as well.

: My dancer had an allergic reaction to the non-
: latex gloves they use at her lab. It did lead us to some great
: cotton gloves. The pharmacy had dermatological cotton gloves

A non-latex (vinyl I would guess) allergy, ick! I hope she doesn't
have a latex allergy too. I love the dermal cotton gloves. I have
several pairs that have henna designs on them - I put them on over
hennaed hands, with no other wrap, to sleep in. The henna stays put
for the most part, there is some flaking though. And by the darkness
of the design that transferred to the gloves, I'm guessing that they
do make you sweat a bit!
