ON SHaree's fingertips, you can see the henna came up pale. I've seen
this on nearly every black woman who straightens her hair and uses
pressing oil, or oil of some sort each day. The fingertips just .....
don't hit good color. Something's changed well into the epidermal
layer by daily contact with oil. Her palm has good color ...
fingertips just don't make it.

The short story is ... terp it and/or heat it. You'll need gonzo
saturation to get the best effect.
